We are asking English language experts to help us ensure that our English text is 100% free from errors.

Please read one of our stories in English. The links below allow you to edit or add comments to the text. If you find an error, please fix it. If you don’t find any errors, write that in a comment.

As a thank you, we will give you a featured link at the bottom of the story you reviewed, and you’ll also be featured on our Expert Reviewers page. These featured links will remain visible forever. You’ll become part of the story of Fabulang!

Guidelines

  • We write in British English.
  • Please only fix errors, or unnatural phrasing. If it isn’t an error, leave it as it is.
  • Do not introduce or remove ideas; do not simplify or embellish.
  • Do not split or join sentences. Do not split or join paragraphs.
  • Avoid loanwords unless it would be egregiously wrong to use a native word.
  • Consider the level, and whether simpler or more precise language is more appropriate.

To be eligible for a featured link:

  • You must link to your own high-quality resource for learners of English. This could be a website, videos, courses, tuition, a book, an app, or anything that helps people learn English.
  • We must be satisfied that you are an English language expert. Obviously, you must have a native-level understanding of English.

Pick a story to review

After you’ve reviewed the story, email us on team@fabulang.com, including the name, link, logo and tagline that you want us to show. If the resource you link to costs money, you must also give us free access so we can review it.

FAQs

Expert Reviewers are given a large box in a prominent space that all learners will see after they finish reading the story.

Visit any story that has been reviewed, and have a look. You can find a story that’s been reviewed on the Expert Reviewers page.

If the resource you link to is free, or costs money, we will indicate this on the featured link. We will also indicate whether or not banner ads display alongside your resource.

If you link to your own website, the link will be a “follow” link that helps to improve your SEO.

Please be assured that the current design is already impossible to miss.

It’s counterintuitive, but if we made the box even more prominent or colourful, it would start to look like an advert, and learners would start to ignore it completely. This phenomenon is sometimes called “banner blindness”.

Of course, just email us and we’ll change it to anything you like (that still meets our criteria). We don’t have the resources to change your link often, so please choose a link that will work for a long time. If you want your link to be removed, just tell us.

As long as Fabulang exists. Which will likely be a very long time, as there is no conceivable reason why we would shut down the website.

Thousands of learners read our stories every month, but even if our website has millions of learners in the future, you will still be the featured link under the stories you reviewed.

However, please note that the resource you link to must continue to be a high-quality learning resource. If the resource no longer meets our high standards, we will contact you to address this. If we can’t contact you or agree on a new link, the link will be removed.
